Background
Dr. Lauren Parker is the newest member of the Dentix team, but her role is critical. Many restorative cases — especially full-mouth rehabilitations — require orthodontic preparation before any prosthetic or implant work can begin. Crowded teeth, shifted arches, and bite misalignment all need to be addressed first, and she is the one who handles it.
She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, followed by a two-year orthodontic residency at New York University, where she specialized in adult orthodontics and clear aligner therapy. Unlike many orthodontists who work primarily with adolescents, her training is focused on adult patients — many of whom are preparing for implants, veneers, or full restorations.
At Dentix, she works in two modes. For standalone orthodontic patients, she delivers clear aligner and fixed braces treatment from start to finish. For restorative cases, she collaborates with Dr. Carter and Dr. Reynolds to move teeth into optimal positions before prosthetic or implant work begins — ensuring the final result is not just straight, but structurally sound and designed to last. She brings a younger, modern perspective to the practice and is particularly skilled at putting nervous first-time patients at ease.
